Peter Ralph is stepping down at Imagine Events, the Stockport exhibition and event design and production form he founded, after more than four decades in the industry.
The agency will now be helmed by his children, Adam Ralph as managing director and Carly Ralph as operations director, as they embark on a new chapter for the business.
Peter Ralph, who founded Imagine Events in 1996 after a career in commercial printing and publishing, won long lasting client relationships with the likes of Sandals, Vaillant, and Samsung while leading Imagine.
Peter Ralph said: “After 45 years in the industry, it’s the perfect time to hand over the reins to Adam and Carly. The business is thriving in its new location, and with the next generation’s ideas and passion, I’m confident that Imagine Events will continue to go from strength to strength. It’s not about me anymore; it’s about the future they are going to build for the company and its many committed clients.”
After decades of success working between Stockport, Manchester and the South of England, the exhibition production agency relocated to Stockport in 2023 and has continued to grow as a result. The relocation reflects Stockport’s potential as a thriving business hub. Its strategic location provides the perfect setting for Imagine Events to contribute to the local economy and grow into a future defined by creativity and sustainability.
Adam Ralph, who joined the family business in 2009, will lead the agency in his new managing director role. His vision for the future is rooted in innovative design and exceptional customer satisfaction, coupled with a strong commitment to sustainability.
