Steamhaus celebrates first birthday with two new hires

Cloud consultancy Steamhaus has celebrated its first birthday by expanding its Northern Quarter office and taking on two new hires.

Andy Gordon joins as cloud architect and will design, build and maintain customer infrastructure, while Phil Horn comes on board as sales director and will be responsible for long-term growth strategy.

Steamhaus has expanded its office to incorporate a new events space available for conferences, meet-ups and networking events.

In the last six months, the firm has grown its client base by 700% with the likes of media intelligence business Outcider, ecommerce platform Bunting and Radio.co amongst its customers.

Since its launch in 2015, the business has become an Amazon Web Services (AWS) consulting partner – one of only six in the North West.

Daniel Keighron-Foster, who was recently voted onto the board for Manchester Digital, said: “Over the past 12 months, Steamhaus has gone from strength to strength.

“As predicted, it’s been an exciting (and at times daunting!) challenge bringing a new offering to market, but the response has been fantastic and the amazing feedback from our clients makes it all worth it.”
