Builtvisible has appointed former Jaywing MD Maria Vardy as its new managing director in what it describes a “statement of intent.”
Vardy brings 15+ years of experience to the new role, most recently spending over 10 years at Leeds and Sheffield-based Jaywing.
At Builtvisible, Vardy will oversee the agency’s operations, working closely with its specialist teams across data, SEO and Content to develop and execute strategies that drive exceptional outcomes for clients in high-competition verticals.
Bultvisible CEO, and former professional rugby player for the likes of Rotherham Titans and Plymouth Albion, Geoff Griffiths said: “Maria coming on board is a clear statement of intent about the growth ambitions of Builtvisible and the future potential of the agency. Maria brings decades of experience of what good looks like in agencies, which is going to have an amazing impact on our people, our current roster of international enterprise clients and the ones we look forward to welcoming in the future.”
Vardy added: “I’m delighted to join the team at Builtvisible and help them realise their exciting plans for growth. Geoff is an incredibly charismatic, focussed and driven business leader who’s taken the best from his professional sporting career and applied it to the agency. The result is a team with infectious energy and determination, coupled with their fearless attitude to growth and the freedom of their independence. It makes for a pretty compelling reason to work for and with them.”
