The Composer Works, Manchester’s only music composing company which has recently relocated to MediaCityUK, has scored the music for BBC’s Sunday night period drama Blandings.

Written by Paul Honey, the theme and accompanying underscore received its first airing on BBC1 last night at 6.30pm.

Blandings, originally written by PG Wodehouse, stars Timothy Spall and Jennifer Williams and will feature guest appearances from the likes of David Walliams and Paloma Faith.

Honey has also written the score for CBeebies’ Old Jack’s Boat, starring Bernard Cribbins, which airs at the end of the month.
