Smoking Gun wins new work with £165m holiday home firm


Willerby, the UK’s largest holiday home and lodge manufacturer, has selected Smoking Gun for two new briefs.

After being appointed to handle Willerby’s PR in 2017, the Manchester agency will now also manage its social media marketing activity and also has a combined PR and social media brief for new lifestyle brand ‘Park Homes by Willerby’.

Smoking Gun will support an initial trade launch, before managing the consumer launch at The Southern Motorhome Show in Newbury in May.

MD Rick Guttridge said “We’ve had a very successful working relationship Willerby thus far and it’s due to the team’s hard work and creativity that we’ve been given the opportunity to grow our remit, as well as handle its new Park Homes concept launch.

Willerby employs more than 1,000 staff at its Kingston upon Hull HQ and has an annual turnover of £165m.
