Jack Rigby, founder of The PR Barn said: “We can’t wait to get started with Skiddle, the business has become the go-to platform to get tickets. From incredible gigs to great family days out, the business has evolved over the last 25 years, always putting customer experience first. They have an incredible story to tell, going from strength-to-strength even in the face of adversity, and as Skiddle comes of age, we’re looking forward to helping them mark the occasion, shaping the stories they tell for years to come.”
The win adds another big brand to The PR Barn’s growing client portfolio which includes MVNO Slice Mobile a subsidiary of telecoms giant Lyca Mobile.
PR Barn founder Rigby set up the new agency last year having previously led the communications for Vita Group’s portfolio, from Stockport County to property and tech, and launched his new agency with the aim of “unleashing brand potential” through creative communications including PR, events, social and brand development.
Rigby started out on the agency side, working at Brazen and BJL [now Dentsu] before a seven-year stint at Carousel PR in Manchester. He joined Vita Group in 2021.
As its Group Head of PR and Outreach, he was tasked with promoting Mark Stott’s wide portfolio of businesses. He defined and launched its Union co-living brand, and more recently Uhaus. Stott also owns Stockport County and was an early investor in the Rio Ferdinand-backed DeliveryApp.
