Sherwen Studios, a creative, strategic and technology-driven digital consultancy for transformation, AI and automation, has appointed Lauren Heckman as marketing manager.
Heckman, whose previous experience includes in-house stints at women’s wellness brand Yes and AI software firm Redeye (now Spotler), joins the Chester-based firm with a remit to lead the marketing team’s event, digital content, and marketing strategy, as well as to enhance the personal brands of key team members.
With more than a decade of experience in campaign strategy, content, and performance-driven marketing, Heckman will lead her team with hands-on delivery, ensuring that Sherwen continues to grow and cement its reputation as a market leader.

She said: “Sherwen Studios is an incredibly ambitious team, and it’s been exciting to hear about the plans for the future. But what struck me most was that, despite being a growing team, it still retains its traditional family values, and everyone has given me a warm welcome from the very first day. I love that everyone is free to continually upskill and try new things. It’s rare to find a workplace that embodies a positive learning culture and enables everyone to collaborate and learn from one another. Not only is this great for improving our own skills and knowledge, but it means we can deliver better experiences for clients.”
Matt Sherwen, MD of Sherwen Studios, added: “We’re incredibly excited that Lauren has joined us. Her experience has been a fantastic addition to our marketing team. Since launching our new service proposition a year ago, we’ve been working hard to ensure our clients understand how we support them through transformations, AI, and automation.
“Lauren’s appointment means we can push forward with an upcoming schedule of events and digital content. With her support, we can continue to deliver those value-added extras that educate clients on what they need, rather than what they think they might want.”
The appointment follows a year of record-breaking growth for Sherwen, which a few months ago announced the appointment of James Ferguson as head of experience. The brand, which originated as a photography studio more than 45 years ago, has evolved into a trusted digital consultancy. Last year, the firm also undertook an extensive rebrand to demonstrate its capabilities in transformation, AI, and automation.
