Sheffield integrated marketing agency Born + Raised has created a charity pocket guide that invites people to discover Sheffield with their children.

The launch of the guide coincides with the start of the summer holidays, in a bid to help keep the kids busy.

Designed to raise money for local charities St Luke’s Hospice and Rotherham Hospice as part of the 12th Master Cutler’s Challenge, the guide is available to buy on the Sheffield With Kids website and from local independent stockists including The Famous Sheffield Shop, Rhyme & Reason, Design Studio, Spirals and Ora.

Chloe Lowe, Head of Digital at Born + Raised, said: “Inspiration for the book was sparked by a conversation about the Picasso Doves in the Peace Gardens – just one of Sheffield’s hidden gems.

“We wanted to bring together a guide that celebrated both the obvious and obscure to support two fantastic charities whilst helping parents to survive the summer!”

The guide, which includes 50 free or very low-cost ideas, is aimed at parents, carers, kids and families, to encourage them to visit various locations around the city.

It comprises activities across seven different sections, including fantasy and imagination, the great outdoors and sport.

On the guide, Master and Mistress Cutler of the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire, said: “Whilst you are out and about exploring and having fun, please don’t forget that by buying this book you are helping so many others who are less fortunate.”

Born + Raised’s clients include HSBC, Unilever, SITA, Moneysupermarket.com, Arco and Keep Britain Tidy.
