Chester-based marketing agency, The Armstrong Partnership has announced record revenues and a new name.

Now trademarked as ArmstrongB2B® the 50-strong firm is actively pursuing growth into Europe.

“2022 was an important year for us as we reached a significant milestone. We saw our growth overseas continue, with nearly 70% of our revenue coming from customers outside of the UK,” said CEO, Daniel Owen.

“Throughout the year we made significant investments in new technologies, as well as research and development projects to enable our customers to enhance the communication and demonstration of their products and processes. We continue to support our customers in having a clear advantage over their competition by delivering integrated marketing and brand campaigns that either support an industry leading position, or challenge an established market.”

Owen also explained the reasoning behind the new name:

“To demonstrate our unwavering commitment to business-to-business brands, we’ve added to our name with the trademarking of ArmstrongB2B®.

“Industrial and manufacturing sectors remain the profound and unshakable focus for our agency. Our specialism in these sectors means we can offer invaluable insight into market activity, trends and behaviours, to ensure we create impactful and meaningful communication strategies that enable our customers to grow market share and maintain strong brand advocacy.”

The agency is seeking to increase its headcount by 30% by the end of the year and recruit in Germany, Switzerland, USA and the Nordic and Scandinavian regions

It has also completed the final stage of the renovation of Chester’s Old Post Office, expanding into the building’s basement to create a further 4,500 sq. ft of office space and a state-of-the-art photography and videography studio, as well investing in new equipment to enhance its photography, CGI and motion capabilities.

“As an agency we’re extremely passionate about creating an inspiring place to work. This doesn’t just come from investing in the latest technology, it’s about building a place that people genuinely enjoy coming to –  that brings out the best in individuals, both professionally and personally,” added  Commercial Director, Laura Owen.

“We’ve forged relationships with local universities to deliver two successful open days that have led to several full-time hires for the agency. The hiring market is extremely competitive right now, but we’re committed to seeking out the right people to join ArmstrongB2B®; people who want to be part of a growing agency where they can actively contribute to what our future looks like.”
