From celebrating memorable campaigns to recognising a rising star making a positive impact across their sector, there’s plenty of categories to enter at this year’s Prolific North Champions Awards. 

This flagship awards event, which shines a spotlight on the North’s creative, digital, marketing and tech sectors, has become a staple of the industry calendar over the past 11 years.

With the deadline for early bird entries fast approaching, you have until 2 February to enter the awards.

By entering, you’ll be able to raise your profile, get your work in front of our panel of industry-leading judges, and celebrate with over 500 industry professionals on the night.

From recognising striking campaigns, innovations or trailblazing individuals – here’s some of the categories for 2024 below.

B2B Marketing Campaign of the Year Sponsored by Bubble Design – This award is for a campaign that has successfully engaged a business audience and boosted sales. The judges will be looking for campaigns based on their ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of the target B2B audience, employ impactful strategies for lead generation and conversion, and can showcase overall excellence in campaign execution.

B2C Campaign of the YearHave you created a campaign that can demonstrate innovation, creativity, and effectiveness in engaging and capturing the attention of your target consumer audience? Then this category is for you. The judges will evaluate campaigns on their ability to generate brand awareness, and drive customer acquisition and retention through compelling and results-driven initiatives. 

B2B PR Campaign of the YearThe winning campaign for this category will have successfully leveraged PR tactics to enhance brand visibility, shape positive narratives, and establish thought leadership within the B2B sector. The judging panel will assess campaigns based on their ability to navigate complex industry landscapes, engage key stakeholders, secure impactful media coverage, and contribute to the overall success and reputation of the businesses involved.

B2C PR Campaign of the YearEntrants in this category will have succeeded in grabbing headlines and attention in the press. The judges are on the hunt for campaigns that have tapped into innovative storytelling, and contributed significantly to the positive public image and reputation of the brand. 

Not-For-Profit Campaign of the Year Have you made a significant difference in raising awareness, advancing a cause or driven positive change? Then we want to hear from you. This is a free to enter category and the judges will be looking for campaigns based on their ability to effectively communicate a mission, engage diverse audiences, and achieve measurable outcomes that contribute to the overall success of the not-for-profit organisation.

Innovation of the YearSponsored by Powerhouse Whether it’s in tech, product development, services or process, this category celebrates the boldest, most inventive solutions. The judges will evaluate entries based on the uniqueness, potential for long-term impact, and the extent to which it addresses a specific challenge or opportunity in an exceptional way. 

Prolific Leader of the Year – This coveted award is free to enter and will go to an inspirational individual who can demonstrate real business success and a tangible impact beyond their business and into the wider region. It might include being a voice for their community or generously donating their skills and expertise to social / purpose-led initiatives. The winner of this award will be decided through a combination of judges’ scores and a public vote.

Prolific Rising Star of the YearThis free to enter category will recognise a young individual who has shown outstanding talent, skill, passion, attitude or resilience over the past year. The judges will assess nominees based on their standout contributions, potential for future success, and the positive influence they’ve exerted in their industry or community. The winner of this award will be aged under 30 at the time of the awards and decided through a combination of judges’ scores and a public vote.
