Early bird entries are now open until 2 February for these flagship awards, as we continue to celebrate talent emerging from across the North’s creative, digital, marketing and tech sectors.

By entering, you’ll get your work in front of our panel of industry-leading judges, raise your profile, and unite with over 500 industry professionals on the night.

From recognising fast-growing companies to talented teams – here’s some of the categories for 2024 below!

Tech Company of the Year – This award is perfect for growing tech companies able to demonstrate growth over the past year. Backed by a great culture and able to detail contributions to technological progress, market leadership, and a positive impact from your innovations on business or society? Then this category is for you.

Tech for Good Award – This free to enter category is for tech-driven initiatives able to demonstrate positive social impact, whether that’s addressing societal challenges or driving inclusivity. The judges will be looking for scalable, innovative initiatives that are driving positive outcomes in areas such as education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, or social equity.

Tech Platform of the Year – Are you a tech platform that stands out with transformative capabilities, while making a substantial contribution to the evolution of the digital landscape? Then this coveted award is for you. The judging panel will evaluate platforms based on their technological advancements, user experience, market influence, and the positive disruption they bring to their respective industries.

Web/Product Development Agency of the Year – Entrants in this category should be able to demonstrate excellence in web or product development. You’ll be an agency able to showcase technical expertise, creativity, and a keen understanding of user needs while being able to optimise user experiences, and drive tangible results for clients.

Recognising organisations and teams

Training Provider of the Year – This category recognises the provider that excels in equipping people with the tools and expertise necessary for success in the media, creative or digital sectors. The judges will evaluate providers based on the quality of their curriculum, innovative teaching methodologies, measurable outcomes, and their commitment to fostering skill development.

Best Client Services Team – If your client services team consistently goes above and beyond, ensuring top results for clients, boosting relationships, and making a real difference, we want to hear from you. The judging panel will be looking for a team able to build strong relationships with a track record of exceeding client expectations.

Best In-House Marketing Team Sponsored by HUB –  In-house teams entering this category will be creative, forward-thinking, and able to consistently deliver innovative campaigns with impressive results. The judges will assess teams based on their strategic vision, and the impact of their initiatives on brand awareness, customer engagement, and overall business objectives.

New Brand to Watch – This exciting award recognises the most promising and innovative new brand on the scene. Entrants in this category will be fresh and original, with a unique value proposition. Judges will evaluate brands based on their market impact, differentiation, and potential for long-term success.

Made in the North & Making Global Waves – This category is for an agency or brand making a global impact, succeeding on an international stage in the last year. A winning organisation may have set up new operational bases overseas, had headcount growth, international client wins, or ambitious expansion strategies.

Best Workplace Award –  We want to hear from you if your company prioritises a positive and inclusive culture, has a clear vision and perhaps (but not necessarily) an inspiring office location. The winning workplace will be able to demonstrate strong leadership in their approach to empower and develop their workforce.

Fastest Growing Company of the Year – Able to demonstrate annual revenue growth greater than 10% over the last three years, with a minimum revenue of £5m for the last accounting period?
