New year, new brand proposition, new MD at Jaywing

Integrated marketing agency Jaywing has refreshed its brand proposition, supported by a unique blend of key specialists across data science, media and creative.

The brand refresh, which forms part of the agency’s wider strategic growth plans, sees Dr Catherine Kelly taking on the role of managing director.  Kelly has been with the business since 2017 and has a wealth of previous experience including a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham and senior positions at premium brands including Diageo, Kellogg’s and ASDA.

Karl Stones is Jaywing’s executive creative director, having been with the business for five years, and has been key to bringing the refreshed proposition to life. He said: “The refreshed brand proposition, ‘stories written with numbers’, wholly defines who we are as a
business and what makes us completely distinctive. Our offering across creative, media and data science, underpinned by numbers, provides a unique blend that sets us apart from other integrated marketing agencies.”

Kelly and Stones are supported by Karen Snape, data science director, who has been with the business for 20 years and leads the data science division, and Chris Langan, media director, who is responsible for Jaywing’s Media division.
Kelly added:  “We are an innovative agency that harnesses our heritage in data to deliver marketing that works. Our purpose is to be the most inspirational and valued partner to our clients, and we have a very talented leadership team in place to get us there.  We’ve got ambitious plans for 2024 and I’m confident that we’ve created a solid infrastructure to achieve that growth.”

Jaywing started as a specialist data business 25 years ago. Now, the multi-award winning agency is one of the top ten integrated agencies in the North, with ambitious aims to be the most valuable partner to clients and the destination where brands grow, and talent thrives. Its distinct offering has led to a raft of new client partnerships, including those with Bettys, AO and The Entertainer.
