Netcom will provide more than 350 fully-funded places on Liverpool-based digital courses over the next 5 years.

The digital skills training provider has secured £5m in government funding from the Adult Learning Budget, which has been allocated by Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA).

The funding will mean Netcom can open dedicated digital training facilities and create new jobs in the region.

“The £5m funding demonstrates Liverpool City Region’s commitment to supporting learners to access the skills they need to get into work or make a change in the direction of their careers,” said Kevin Vashi, Managing Director of Netcom Training.

“This means our digital skills courses are fully-funded – there is no cost to the learner. In this way we can help transform the working lives of many hundreds of people across the city region, improving their career prospects and in turn the local economy.”

Learners must be aged 19 or over and live in the Liverpool City Region.
