With just one week to go until Digital City Festival returns to Manchester, we can now reveal more fringe events and details about the opening party.
From 15 – 19 April, Digital City Festival will be back to unite the digital, creative and tech sectors through a series of anchor events and fringe events.
We’ll be kicking off the festival in style with a free event following the Made in the North Summit & Exhibition in MediaCity, where you can connect with new faces, share ideas and grab a drink. Book your spot here.

Unravelling the Mysteries of Artificial Intelligence
When: Wednesday 17 April, 5.30pm to 8pm
Where: No.2 Circle Square, Manchester, UK
Join Accenture’s Next Gen Engineering team for “Unravelling the Mysteries of Artificial Intelligence”, an immersive workshop to experience the power of AI first-hand with a live demo.
Led by data and AI Engineers Sudesh Salian and Dmitry Leyko, this workshop is designed to introduce you to the fundamental topics necessary for creating AI-powered applications. Participants will be grouped together to collaboratively build their own AI applications and the best AI solution created during the workshop will be judged by a panel.
The winners have a chance to win a Quest Pro and other prizes, so bring your A-game and showcase your AI prowess!
Spatial Jam

Join HOST and MediaCity Immersive Technologies Hub for this special event diving deep into the realm of spatial computing and the impact on creating augmented reality content.
What does the future hold for consumers and creatives, and how can Manchester build more open platforms that allow creativity to flourish? During this event you’ll be able to hear from local visionaries who are creating alternative ways to get content and experiences in front of people and pitch your own ideas for collaboration through lightning talks.
You’ll also be able to take part in exclusive demos of the Apple Vision Pro and meet other talented creators in Manchester who are changing the future as we know it.
