Four new fringe events taking place during Digital City Festival (DCF) in March have been announced – hosted by partners including Manchester Digital and Tech Nation.

Digital City Festival, from March 9th to 13th, will comprise five days’ worth of events across Manchester, all focused on the excellence of the digital sector.

Its fringe events will complement the high-profile Digital City Expo on March 11th and 12th at Manchester Central, which brings together four industry expos. Topics covered at the growing range of fringe events will include Tech for Good, smart cities, innovation in eCommerce and so much more.

We recently announced the first three sessions at the DCF fringe – ‘Transforming Training with VR/AR’, ‘Smart Cities Manchester’, and ‘#AmafestUK’. The full range of Digital City Festival events are listed on its website

Speaking at the time, Festival Director Martyn Collins said: “Hosting an event as part of the festival fringe will provide companies with the chance to engage with the industry in whichever way they want.”

Companies, campaigns, educators and more are still invited to become a central part of the Digital City Festival week by putting on their own fringe event at the week-long festival.
