Today we can announce the first three fringe events for 2020’s Digital City Festival, lasting from March 9th to 13th.
Digital City Festival will bring together leading companies, experts, organisations and individuals from industries spanning creative, marketing, media, tech and eCommerce.
An addition to the festival’s cornerstone event, Digital City Expo on March 11th and 12th, companies and groups are invited to get involved by hosting a fringe event during the festival.
DCF2020 fringe events are listed on the festival’s Events page, with many still to be added.
“We want the city of Manchester to be bustling with events and activities,” said Festival Director Martyn Collins. “Hosting an event as part of the festival fringe will provide companies with the chance to engage with the industry in whichever way they want.”
The first-announced fringe events include Smart Cities Manchester, EON Reality, and #AmafestUK. Find out what they’re all about below.
At this event, you’ll be able to gain foundational expertise, build strategy, and create VR and AR training and teaching content to take away – for free! EON Reality is hosting a workshop for professionals who want to explore immersive tech for the workplace. All you need to bring is your laptop (windows) and your smartphone.

#AmafestUK is a full day conference for Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central users.
This event is ideal for brands, retailers and distributors, as well as people who are already selling on Amazon or who are interested in getting started. If you’re looking to grow your business in the UK and globally by trading on the world’s largest retailer, you don’t want to miss out!
