Shaka Social, an independent Glasgow-based social agency, has added Japanese audio specialist Audio-Technica to its client list after a competitive pitch process.
The win will see Shaka Social take on full responsibility for Audio-Technica’s social output across EMEA, including paid media, organic strategy, creators and content production.
Audio-Technica, founded in Tokyo, Japan, in 1962, is a globally recognised name in professional and consumer audio, with a devoted following among musicians, audiophiles, DJs, and content creators.
Shaka Social is an independent social media agency based in Glasgow. Launched in 2022 by Grant Macdonald and Ali Olivier, the agency specialises in social strategy, content production and paid media and, the founders say was launched with one clear focus: “To help ambitious brands turn social into a genuine growth channel, not just a box to tick.”
Co-founder and director Olivier said: “Audio-Technica is an amazing win for the team and we’re so excited to be trusted by such an established and ambitious brand. We’re seeing a trend of larger, more established brands looking towards smaller, more niche agencies and we’re delighted that the team at Audio-Technica selected us.”
The win adds to Shaka Social’s growing client list, which already includes global brands such as Skyscanner, Red Bull and Whyte & Mackay.
