Greater Manchester sports retailer launches exclusive Red Bull Racing/YETI collaboration

Bury-HQ’d sports retailer GO Outdoors has announced the release of an exclusive collaboration between Oracle Red Bull Racing and YETI.

Now live, the collection features staple YETI products, including cool boxes, insulated flasks and travel bags, but with a sleek and sporty Red Bull design.

Chosen for its close connection to the motorsport community thanks to its close proximity to both Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix and the UK’s longest-serving stock car racing track, Northampton International Shaleway, the GO Outdoors Northampton store hosted a recent in-store event to officially celebrate the launch of the range.

The event saw customers test their racing skills in a high-tech Oracle Red Bull Racing Simulator, with the fastest lap of the day winning a tour of the Red Bull Racing Factory for them and a friend.

Neil Donaldson, associate director of outdoor living at GO Outdoors, said: “We are proud to be the exclusive UK retailer for the highly anticipated Oracle Red Bull Racing x YETI collection. Our YETI partnership continues to go from strength to strength, and we’re delighted to bring to life the new collection online and across our flagship stores.

“Our in-store Northampton event was a huge success, and we’re equally looking forward to seeing the reaction to our website launch. With limited availability and a huge summer ahead for the sport, we expect the collection to sell out quickly.”

Red Bull Racing Limited, currently competing as Oracle Red Bull Racing and also known simply as Red Bull or RBR, is a Formula One racing team, competing under an Austrian racing licence but operating entirely out of its UK base in Milton Keynes. It is one of two Formula One teams owned by conglomerate Red Bull GmbH, the other being Racing Bulls.

The limited edition collaboration can be shopped in selected GO Outdoors stores, or online.
