Workerbee is making a new series of E4 “dating experiment” Love Triangle.
The first series was described by The Guardian as “messy, explosive and highly entertaining”.
The second 10×60 minute outing will feature “fresh twists, turns and surprises” as 6 singles choose between 2 handpicked partners, based on a connection made by texting only.
They then move in together to fast-track their relationship, however, then the rejected match will return to form the Love Triangle.
After living with and getting to know both suitors, each of the six pickers will face one final decision, as they choose who to hold on to, and who to let go.
“Following the impressive streaming performance of its debut run, I’m delighted to be treating E4 viewers to a second series of Love Triangle,” said Lee McMurray, Commissioning Editor.
“I can’t wait to see how a fresh batch of singles navigate this unique, three-way dating experiment, and what their stories will deliver in terms of the romance, drama and dilemmas our audience love.”
It’s being made by Manchester-based Workerbee – part of Banijay UK.
“Workerbee is delighted to be making a new series of premium reality dating format, Love Triangle, for E4,” added Ben Mitchell from Workerbee.
“Proudly filmed in Manchester, one of Britain’s coolest, most cosmopolitan cities, the new series will serve up a binge-fest of twists, turns and emotional drama. In Love Triangle, there are always three sides to every story!”
It’s executive produced by Mitchell and Jon Cahn.
