Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, will formally welcome some of the digital sector’s brightest and best to Manchester as he launches the first-ever Digital City Festival on March 9th.
Burnham will officially open the five-day event coming to Manchester in March, attending the official launch event hosted at the offices of Nasty Gal on Dale Street at 9:30am. He will speak about Manchester’s ambition to become one of Europe’s top digital city-regions, and the city’s commitment to delivering this through an open, collaborative and connected approach.
The Mayor will be joined by Jo Graham, CIO at Boohoo; Patrick Gormley, Capita Consulting Lead; and Martyn Collins, Festival Director of Digital City Festival, to speak at the exclusive event.
It will kick off five days of activity which will attract digital specialists from around the world to the city, which will transform into a hub for digital – celebrating marketing, tech, eCommerce, media and more in Manchester.
