Manchester Apple specialist launches education-focused podcast

Manchester-based tech specialist Sync has launched a new, education-focused podcast with the aim of empowering educators by sharing real-life examples of the impact of EdTech in and out of the classroom.

The empowerED podcast brings together thought leaders from across the country to discuss their experiences with the successful integration of Apple technology within Multi Academy Trusts, independent schools, and extracurricular activities, all with the goal of effectively utilising devices to create more engaging and personalised learning experiences.

Sync supports schools across the UK, aiding in the adoption, deployment, and ongoing use of technology. Their work across the education sector has ranged from supporting in projects such as Oasis Horizons which saw over 30,000 iPad devices adopted across 52 academies, to working with universities like University Academy 92 to develop the digital presence of their Manchester campus, and even working with Guide Dogs Association for the Blind’s Tech for All scheme, delivering assistive technology to young people with visual impairments across the UK.

empowerED explores how technology can support educational institutions in addressing classroom equity, digital assessment, feedback, accessibility and more. All of this from real-life examples from educators and thought leaders in the industry.
