Lancaster-based creative and digital agency Hotfoot has been appointed by the London-based award-winning social mobility charity upReach to lead the redesign and redevelopment of its website, alongside a wider brand alignment project.
upReach works to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to realise their full career potential, regardless of social background. Since 2021, the organisation has experienced transformational growth, tripling income, doubling headcount, expanding into multiple UK cities and earning national recognition for its impact on social mobility.
The new partnership will support upReach’s next phase of growth through the creation of a more accessible, engaging and strategically aligned digital experience. The project will help the charity strengthen connections with students, partners, funders and supporters through a new website platform, improved user journeys, enhanced storytelling and analytics capabilities, as well as a light-touch brand evolution and updated tone of voice guidance.
Lidia Barbuti, head of marketing and communications at upReach, said: “Hotfoot’s proposal really stood out throughout the process. We’re incredibly excited about what we’re going to create together and look forward to building a website and brand experience that truly reflects upReach’s ambition and impact.”
The project will focus on delivering a “modern, user-centred platform” that balances compelling storytelling with intuitive user experience, enabling different audiences to engage more easily with upReach’s programmes, partnerships and mission.
Alongside the website redevelopment, Hotfoot will also support the refinement of upReach’s visual identity, tone of voice and brand guidelines, helping to create greater consistency and confidence across digital and print communications.
Hotfoot partners with ambitious charities, public sector organisations and purpose-led brands across the UK and internationally, including St John International, Ordnance Survey, CNWL NHS Health Charity, Victoria Wood Theatre and Hudson Valley Shakespeare.
UpReach’s mission statement says: “We support undergraduates from lower socio-economic backgrounds to access and sustain top graduate jobs.
“Working in close partnership with leading employers and universities, we deliver a programme of 1-to-1 coaching to eligible undergraduates. We currently provide personalised support to over 3,000 students from across the UK, helping them to discover different career options, and develop the vital skills, networks and experiences needed to succeed in their chosen career and beyond.”
