Listed construction group promotes Associate Director of Marketing

Ian Cheveau has been promoted to Associate Director of Marketing at GMI Construction Group PLC.

He joined the group a year ago and has worked to grow its profile across the North of England and the Midlands.

A trained journalist, who’s been a freelance writer for the Press Association, has also held senior marketing roles at Balfour Beatty, University of Central Lancashire, Widnes Vikings and St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

“I am very proud to become an Associate Director in the business and continue to support the exemplary projects that are taking place across GMI by highlighting the expertise, experience and capabilities of our people,” he said.

“The GMI brand, on the back of the company’s rapid and continual growth, is achieving great recognition and through our team we will ensure it remains a highly visible business that is associated with quality, sustainability and a commitment to supporting the levelling up of the North and Midlands.”

The promotion will mean Cheveau will work with other directors and teams to promote its activities in logistics, student accommodation, leisure and mixed use developments.
