Access Training has launched a new out of home campaign across the UK to highlight what is happening in the UK that makes a career in the trades a great idea.
Created by Leeds indie Creative Coalition, the ‘Life Changing’ campaign is the first brand campaign for the fast growing trades training company which now has over 40 training centres across the UK.
The 48 sheet and six sheet posters are already appearing across London in January, and will be rolling out across the rest of the country throughout the year.
“We are very proud of this campaign. Bold, simple, colourful, optimistic, thoughtful, carefully crafted and completely unexpected for the category. We hope to change and raise the perceptions of a career in the trades to how it deserves to be seen: A highly skilled profession that is a crucial part of British life,” said Guy Moore of Creative Coalition.
“There is a lot of uncertainty in the UK at the moment. The campaign aims to tackle some of the challenges many of us face: The unrewarding drudgery of working in the corporate world; Bouncing back from a career setback; Making yourself AI proof in an insecure world; Doing something that will always be well paid and in demand. We wanted to highlight how a career in the trades can help people make a positive change, at any stage of life and whatever their circumstances,” added Pete Bracegirdle, also of Creative Coalition.
Access Training’s flexible training programmes enable students to learn a new trade and start work within a far shorter timeframe than traditional college courses, from its nationwide training centres including locations in Liverpool, Manchester, Preston, Leeds, York, Hull, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh. All of the theory and revision elements of the courses are delivered online, while the practical and assessment modules are intensive, hands-on sessions that build practical skills on top of the theory already learned, with theory exams also taking place at the nearest test centre.
