Ricky Wilson, frontman of the Kaiser Chiefs and mentor on BBC One’s The Voice, has signed up to present two shows on BBC Radio 6 Music.
The Yorkshireman’s shows will air between 1 and 2pm on Sunday 23 and Sunday 30 March.
Wilson said: “I’m an avid listener of 6 Music – especially on Sunday afternoons. I love playing records and talking to people so I’m really looking forward to this opportunity to make radio on the weekend.”
Aside from recounting the music of his youth as well as current favourites, Wilson will talk to prominent UK producers including former Blur and The Smiths producer Stephen Street.
