Prolific North and Leeds-based agency HUB are hosting a webinar event with two of the most successful players in Rugby Super League history – Kevin Sinfield and Jamie Jones-Buchanan.
The virtual event, called How Businesses can learn from sport on how to build a winning team, will be hosted on 6th November from 10am.
HUB’s CEO Rob Shaw and Prolific North editor David Prior will be picking the brains of these world-class sportsmen, exploring exactly what makes a winning team tick and how this can be applied to business environments.
Attracting and retaining talent has become a challenge for businesses across many industries, so who better to give insight on how to build a winning team than Sinfield and Jones-Buchanan who both have world-class experience in motivating teams and moulding champions?
Formerly a professional rugby player for Leeds Rhinos and currently the defence coach for the England Rugby League team, Sinfield is perhaps better known outside of sporting circles for his fundraising efforts which have earned him an OBE.
He recently published his best-selling book ‘The Extra Mile’, a memoir which covers his career and documents the fundraising challenges on behalf of MND Association for his teammate and best friend Rob Burrow – including running seven marathons in seven days.
Jones-Buchanan was part of Leeds Rhinos’ ‘Golden Generation’ which won six Super League Grand Finals and secured the World Champions title in 2012. Having been awarded an MBE in 2022 for services to rugby league football and the community in Leeds, Buchanan-Jones is now a Rugby League coach and head of culture, diversity and inclusivity at Leeds Rhinos.
