Converge is expanding its operations into the UK, with the appointment of Julian Carter as its Manchester-based Sales Director.
The platform uses AI to help media firms “reinvent their agencies for the AI age.”
Carter is well known to the North West community, having held senior roles at the likes of Global, GMG, Ten Alps, UTV, Reach and SmartOutdoor over his 20+ year career.
Most recently he’s been Sales Director at Aircards and Commercial Director of audioadpro, both in Newcastle.
“Converge has been hugely successful in Ireland, so I’m excited to be helping replicate that in the UK. I’m looking forward to helping independent-minded agencies boost efficiency, close performance gaps, and simplify media trading with transparent, results-driven solutions,” he said.

Returning to Manchester, Carter will report to Converge CRO, Mark James, and work closely with their leadership team, taking responsibility for forging partnerships with agencies and advertisers.
