iQOOH, the out of home specialist founded late last year by former Global and Primesight directors David Peters and Tim De Monte, has now added its network of digital 48-sheet hoardings to the Smart Digital Network (SDN).

The news comes as IQ’s portfolio continues to expand across the regions of the UK, and will further strengthen its position in the North of England in particular.

iQ positions itself as the UK’s fastest-growing challenger OOH brand, and will soon offer a network of 400 impactful, high-quality large format screens with every single impact tracked.

SDN, meanwhile, currently represents a network of nearly 550 screens, comprising both large format in the North of England, Scotland and Wales, and small format across the UK in significantly high footfall and dwell time locations.

iQOOH co-founder Peters said: “This partnership allows us to expand our sales footprint nationally to regional independent direct agencies and clients alike. SDN have a great client base in the North of England and Scotland, and we’re confident given their expertise and knowledge they’re best placed to represent us there.”

Julian Carter, commercial director at SDN, added: “The outdoor advertising industry has long been dominated by a handful of players, however we want to offer an alternative to help change that. By bringing together independent, forward-thinking businesses, we’re not only able to provide our customers with a more cost-effective solution, but also a smarter way to do business and hopefully make everybody’s life easier. Our small format Network also continues to grow, and will hit another milestone soon.“
