After a successful debut in London last year, which saw the event hailed as one of the UK’s best wellness festivals by both the Express and the Evening Standard, Wellness festival Wellnergy is gearing up to captivate Manchester’s attention with an even better second year edition and Manchester debut.
On July 6 2024 Wellnergy, created by Intravlr founder Nick Steiert during the lockdown, is coming to Wythenshawe Park, offering “an immersive, soul-enriching experience like never before.”
The festival combines fitness, food, drink, mindfulness and laughter and promises to bring communities back together, celebrating wellness beyond stereotypes and limitations.
Attendees can get stuck into energising fitness classes from the best in the industry, ranging from yoga, breathwork and pilates classes to the intensity of HIIT workouts. Speakers in tents will share insight and motivation to inspire and ignite passion. Those feeling brave enough will also be able to get involved in a cold plunge ice bath challenge.
The day will also boast a diverse and exciting musical line up featuring both bands and international DJ’s that promises to get your feet moving. You can enjoy this with a drink in hand, alcoholic or alcohol-free, alongside food vendors serving food for the soul from all different cultures and brands connected to the wellness industry exhibiting their products.
Steiert, who sold his travel platform Intravlr to US firm Intrax in 2021, said of his latest venture: “After fifteen years in the business, I’ve seen it all, including a pandemic which completely shut off the travel industry. I’m very excited to be able to focus on growing Wellnergy, my next adventure. The world certainly needs wellness right now and I’m ready for the next chapter.”
