Everton Football Club has agreed a short-term sponsorship deal with international gaming brand My.Games, which is part of the wider Mail.ru Group.

My.Games will become the club’s Official Mobile Gaming Partner, with Everton agreeing to promote the titles created and operated by My.Games across its social media channels. With more than 770 million players registered among its games, Everton will reach new international audiences through the deal.

The gaming brand, whose offices include locations in Amsterdam, Silicon Valley, St. Petersburg, Moscow and Minsk, creates games for PC, consoles and mobiles. These include Skyforge, Zero City, Rush Royale, War Robots and Hustle Castle.

Everton’s James Rodriguez has recently shared a social video showing him playing the game War Robots.

Alan McTavish, Commercial Director at Everton Football Club, said: “This is an innovative strategic deal for both Everton and MY.GAMES, that will allow both parties access to new worldwide audiences.

“MY.GAMES’ strong customer base across the globe fits perfectly with our international commercial strategy. This deal shows that MY.GAMES recognises the global reach that Everton can deliver through its international fanbase and the potential for growth and brand awareness.”

Elena Grigoryan, CMO of My.Games, added: “We are proud to work with Everton to bring MY.GAMES to the attention of the wide, global audience who follow the most watched football league in the World. At MY.GAMES, we pride ourselves on our innovation, and we are excited to be working with a forward-thinking Club like Everton.

“We believe there are many common values between us and the city of Liverpool’s original football team – we both love to entertain our fans and share the spirit of hard work, fairplay and the pursuit of excellence. We are delighted to explore this new opportunity for commercial growth and development, as well as lend our support to the much-loved Blues.”
