Manchester-based ecommerce consultancy PushON has appointed Liam Gibson as its new business development manager to accelerate growth across its digital marketing and eCommerce services.
The appointment is part of PushON’s broader strategy to scale operations and expand its client portfolio. With its focus on delivering full-service eCommerce and digital marketing solutions, the company aims to strengthen its presence among ambitious, high-growth businesses seeking expert guidance in driving online success.
Gibson has previously held similar roles at Silverbean, where he a crucial role in the agency’s expansion and Durham-based social media agency The Social Co, where he was instrumental in growing the paid social division.
In the new role at PushON, Gibson will be responsible for identifying and securing high-value clients, enhancing the agency’s market reach, and driving new business opportunities across its full suite of services. He has already made an impact in the new position by onboarding a high-profile men’s clothing brand in his first days at the agency.
Gibson said: “PushON has ambitious growth plans, and I’m excited to play a key role in driving them forward. The team’s passion and expertise stood out to me immediately, and I was eager to take on the challenge of expanding the agency’s reach. My goal is to build a robust sales function that will fuel PushON’s continued success.”
Sam Rutley, managing director of PushON, added: “Liam’s track record in business development and his understanding of the digital landscape makes him a fantastic addition to the team. His strategic approach will be invaluable as we continue to scale our services and expand our client base.”
Gibson’s appointment follows a flurry of hiring activity at PushON in late 2024. The consultancy, which notably delivered a new ecommerce site for Dead Kennedys and The Fall label Cherry Red in 2023, grew its marketing team by three in October as a result of “a result of an increased demand for PushON’s digital marketing services, particularly in PPC and paid social media.”
It also broadened its service offerings to include TikTok and Amazon advertising last year, with the aim of ensuring it stays at the forefront of digital marketing trends.
