The Strong Agency has been appointed by Groobarbs Wild Farm to manage communications for its new “field-to-fork” restaurant and veg box delivery services.
The Manchester agency will be responsible for promoting both parts of the business and running its press office.
“Groobarbs’ commitment to reviving fruit and veg farming in the North-West and promoting the environmental and physical health benefits of true seasonal dining is compelling,” said The Strong Agency founder, Julie Wilson.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to work together to promote Groobarbs Field Kitchen and support Groobox in its next phase of expansion. It’s a dream brief for Strong combining our love of the outdoors with our passion for food, leisure, and hospitality.”
Groobarbs Field Kitchen is based on the farm’s estate in Cheshire. Opened late last year by husband-and-wife team, David and Becky Fryer, and led by Head Chef, Mark Price, its dishes are centred around produce harvested from its market garden.
Groobox is its vegetable box delivery service, which supplies customers over 35-mile radius.
The Strong Agency said that work was already underway on an integrated business and consumer communications campaign designed to drive awareness, web traffic, reservations, and sales.
This will feature seasonal activations, business profiling and creative news generation.
“The Strong Agency’s passion for what we’re doing coupled with its extensive knowledge of the hospitality, food and beverage, and retail sectors impressed us from the off. They’ve already contributed considerable value to the business; we’re looking forward to the months ahead,” added David Fryer, owner of Groobarbs Wild Farm.
