The family of the late Newcastle United and England manager Sir Bobby Robson has launched legal action against News Group Newspapers for alleged interception of his voicemails.
Robson, who died of lung cancer in 2009, has not previously been named as a potential victim of phone-hacking.
But, according to website Byline Investigates, his family have launched the action against the publisher of the Sun and the defunct News of the World, which has already been forced to pay up to £500m in settlements to victims, plus legal costs.
Dozens of new individuals have joined Prince Harry in the latest round of phone-hacking claims against both News Group and Mirror Group Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mirror.
They include former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Tweedy, reality stars Imogen Thomas and Rebecca Loos, and actress Michelle Collins.
