Everything you need to know about Prolific North’s new Creative Awards

We’ve pulled everything you need to know to get your entry started for the very first Prolific North Creative Awards.

You have until 21st April to submit your entry to the Creative Awards, which aim to recognise and celebrate the individuals, teams and companies doing brilliant things across the North’s creative sectors.

The awards will host a live ceremony reveal 29th June at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), and will feature a special exhibition to showcase brilliant creative work, as well as celebrating our winners on the night.

These awards have been launched with input and support from top industry experts from the likes of BBC, ITV and Google, to honour the scale of creativity booming across the region.

With decades of experience across the creative world, we have already announced an impressive line-up of judges which you can read more about here, as well as category sponsors on board – Dentsu Creative and McCann Leeds.

From production companies creating memorable stories to stand-out advertising campaigns or compelling audio, there’s plenty of categories to choose from! Take a look here for our full category breakdown.

Previous Prolific North Awards have seen hundreds of talented creative winners win big on the night – from Mosquito bagging the Best Social Media Campaign award last year for the brilliant campaign #TimeforaHorlicks to On the Beach & Uncommon: Everything’s Better On The Beach – winning Multimedia Broadcasting Ad of the Year in 2020.

In 2022, The Gate Films took home two awards – Production Company of the Year and Audio / Visual Production of the Year for its work with Lounge Underwear.

Simon Lewis, CEO at The Gate Films, said the awards are an important part of the company’s marketing strategy: “Not only are they a great opportunity to share with the creative industry the new work and projects that we are proud of but also support the industry, especially in the North.”
