Epiphany co-founder Robin Skidmore has joined the board of Snaptrip.com, the last-minute holiday rentals company.
Skidmore, who joins as a non-executive director, already has a 2.63% stake in the company having invested three years ago after selling Leeds-based digital marketing agency Epiphany.
Mustafe Awale will also be moving to the business as senior performance marketing manager and will be responsible for ensuring that Snaptrip.com has strategic, trusted and mutually profitable partners and affiliate relationships.
Mustafe joins from Webgains, where he worked on clients including Nike and Virgin Experience Days.
Launched in April 2014, Snaptrip has had almost 300,000 customers and raised a total of £4.2m in equity funding.
Last month, the company acquired Last Minute Cottages after a £1.2m investment round.
Founder and CEO, Matt Fox, said: “The impact Robin has had since joining the Snaptrip.com journey in the autumn of 2015 has been invaluable, particularly because of his experience in the travel industry and wealth of contacts. We are incredibly excited to welcome Robin as a non-executive director and anticipate an expansion of the considerable impact he has already had on the business.”
