Sheffield and London-based BAFTA-winning VFX and animation studio Jellyfish Pictures has made two senior hires in an expansion of its VFX division.
Industrial Light & Magic veteran Jamie Wood has been appointed head of compositing, bringing with him over 22 years of compositing experience, most recently on Netflix’s Heart of Stone and previously on franchises including Star Trek, X-Men, The Wizarding World, and MCU titles.
Pete Seager has also joined Jellyfish as head of CG. Seager has worked in the VFX industry for over 16 years and credits include work on the latest Bond entry, No Time To Die, Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, The Matrix Resurrections, and Avengers: Endgame.

Jellyfish Pictures’ 2024 slate includes Ellen Kuras’ Lee, starring Kate Winslet, Constellation for Apple TV+, and Netflix’s upcoming movie adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Twits. Past work includes Star Wars titles Rogue One, Book of Boba Fett and The Last Jedi, Recent AI adventure The Creator and Wes Anderson hits Asteroid City and The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar.
