Training provider Another Avenue, part of the Fearless Adventures group founded by Social Chain founder Dominic McGregor, David Newns, and Charlie Yates, has been awarded almost £900,000 in funding from the Department for Education (DfE) to expand its award-winning Skills Bootcamp programmes across the UK.
The £877k of DfE funding, due within three months, marks a major milestone for the fast-growing education arm, allowing the organisation to open new fully funded places for learners across South Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire and Warrington as well as expand its operations in the capital.
It follows a period of rapid growth and continued success for Another Avenue, which has already supported over 800 learners through its industry-led bootcamps since launching in 2022.
The funding supports the delivery of two flagship 12-week programmes – the Digital Marketing Skills Bootcamp and the Fearless Accelerator (Business Fundamentals Skills Bootcamp) – with a new Content Creator Skills Bootcamp set to launch in early 2026.

The Digital Marketing Skills Bootcamp equips learners with in-demand skills across SEO, paid media, and social strategy, while providing hands-on experience and tailored career support.
Every graduate is guaranteed an interview with an employer, helping to turn new skills into real opportunities. The Fearless Accelerator is designed to help self-employed founders and freelancers formalise, optimise, and scale their businesses through a hybrid blend of live expert-led sessions, one-to-one mentoring, and peer accountability.
Building on this momentum, Another Avenue will also launch a Content Creator Skills Bootcamp in early 2026, initially in London.
Upcoming cohorts include the Digital Marketing Skills Bootcamp, starting on 3rd November across Lancashire, South Yorkshire, and London, and 7th January in London and South Yorkshire, alongside the Fearless Accelerator, running from 7th November and 5th January in Cheshire, Warrington, and again London.
Founded by entrepreneurs who have scaled businesses to over £1bn in combined value, Another Avenue was created to bridge the digital and entrepreneurial skills gap through real-world training, mentorship, and career opportunities. Its hybrid delivery model blends flexibility with practical impact, helping learners gain the confidence and tools to grow their careers or businesses.
Co-founder McGregor said: “We launched Another Avenue to make a real impact – helping people start businesses, change careers, and build lasting success. This latest round of funding is not only a huge vote of confidence in what we’re building, but also a powerful opportunity to reach even more people and create meaningful change in their lives and businesses.”
Lisa Claydon, operations director at Another Avenue, added: “There’s a growing digital and business skills gap across the UK, and our mission is to close it by making high-quality, industry-led training accessible to everyone. Every learner we support brings us one step closer to that goal — and we’re proud to continue empowering the next generation of ambitious founders, freelancers, and professionals.”
