Huddersfield-based The Dining Club Group has appointed a new head of marketing.
It’s a swift promotion for Joseph Gourvenec, who joined the firm in April this year as senior digital analyst. Prior to that he was head of digital marketing and ecommerce at Travelodge Ireland, a role he held for 3 years.
“I am excited to be leading the marketing team here having worked with the brand for over eight months,” he said.
“I really believe in the products’ offerings and feel we have a huge opportunity to really own the restaurant vouchers market. We have lots of exciting plans for the brands as we move into 2018 and I’m looking forward to seeing the business continue to grow.”
He will work across The Dining Club Group’s 3 brands, tastecard, Gourmet Society and Hi-Life, to oversee digital and offline communications.
“Joe has demonstrated some great results for us over the past few months and his vision aligns very much with our plans to grow and develop next year. This is an exciting time for the Dining Club Group and its brands with our new route to market in some of the UK’s major retailers. We’re confident Joe will help drive and optimise the brands’ offering,” added CEO Matt Turner.
Launched in 2006, tastecard has more than 3.4m members.
