Newcastle-based Silverbean is launching an office in America as it seeks to meet growing demand from ecommerce brands looking to expand into Europe.

The affiliate and partner marketing agency has appointed Sarah Beeskow Blay - who has previously had senior roles at Awin Global and ShareASale - to the newly created position of Vice President North America, based from Chicago.

Additionally, head of affiliate marketing Louise James has been promoted to Global Associate Director.

The expansion is part of the agency’s global expansion strategy. It already has 40 staff across offices in Newcastle and Melbourne, Australia.

Neil Robbins, CEO at Silverbean, said: “Brands across the world are seeking growth in new global territories and Silverbean is fantastically placed to help them with their European and APAC affiliate partner strategies.

“I am delighted to welcome Sarah to our business, she has an incredible reputation as an industry leader in the US and she will significantly enhance our capabilities as we begin to begin to work with more clients in North America.”

Blay said she was "thrilled" to join the company.

"As global e-commerce continues to experience exponential growth, we’re seeing increased demand from brands in North American with a desire to expand their reach to new regions," she added.
