CTI Digital founder takes board advisory role at Manchester and Midlands agency collective

CTI Digital founder and digital agency entrepreneur Nick Rhind has been appointed by Nottingham and Manchester-based marketing agency collective, The Boda Group, as board advisor.

The appointment “signals a major strategic push” said the Boda Group, which primarily comprises digital marketing and PR agency, Tank and brand communications agency, Warbox.

Counting Betway, Affinity by Canva and SAS among its clients, Rhind’s appointment follows the successful launch of Boda’s Manchester office in the summer of 2025.

Rhind brings a proven track record of building and scaling agencies, having previously grown CTI Digital into a major international operation. He founded CTI Digital as a full-service digital transformation agency in 2003, and through an aligned strategy of organic growth and acquisition grew it into an enterprise of over 250 staff with almost £20m revenues and a 30% EBITDA, achieving a £60m EV, ultimately stepping aside from day-to-day operations when the firm attracted a “multi-million” pound investment from the private equity arm of Lloyds Bank in 2023.

Rhind has also spoken of Nick his passion for helping support new business leaders realise their potential using his own knowledge and experience of navigating the entire process, and will now act as a board advisor to the Boda Group, supporting the leadership team on growth strategy, organisational development and long-term planning.

Rhind said “I’m genuinely impressed by what Boda is building, and know that I can help support the team as it continues to scale the great offering and unique talents within the business.

“AI evolution is rapidly changing the marketplace and the group is continuing to develop its growth strategy, and possesses what I believe is the right drive, expertise and resilience to achieve its ambitions.”

The Boda Group stretches back to 2010 when managing director Trevor Palmer founded Tank. He said: “Nick has built and grown multiple agencies and created a group structure before, so having him on the board to help us clear hurdles and spot new opportunities gives us a serious advantage in this ever-shifting marketplace.

“We’re delighted – and a bit flattered, that he has chosen to work with us.”
