Liverpool’s Continuous is behind the positioning and launch campaign for new kombucha brand, Pure Booch.
The “Slow makes it so” campaign focuses on the slow-brew process used to create the product.
“We live in a fast world. But there’s still a place for slow. This philosophy is important for an authentic kombucha and something we wanted to focus on when telling our story,” said Patrick O’Connor, Founder of Purity Brewing’s Pure Booch.
O’Connor, a former ecology research technician in South Africa came up with the product after become unwell and being on antibiotics for several months. Initially home-brewing the kombucha for his own use, he learnt how to master the art of authentic kombucha.
“We needed an agency that could bring our story to life. Continuous helped us tell the story of authenticity,” explained Paul Brazier, Head of Marketing at Purity.
“They made us appreciate that Paddy was an asset that other brands do not have.”
The drinks are made at a kombucha brewery in Birmingham, which is part of Purity Brewing Co.
Pure Booch was launched to the on-trade and off-trade in July and is Purity Brewing’s first move outside beer in its 18-year history.
