Manchester full-service marketing agency, Cairn, has delivered a strategic branding project for a new online kitchen configuration tool, following a competitive pitch.
Cairn was selected to work on LIV:K, a platform set to revolutionise the way consumers buy kitchens. The tool allows them to create their ideal kitchen online before being matched with a carefully selected kitchen retailer to bring it to life. It puts beautiful designs at the fingertips of online users, with a host of styling options and advice on how to create the perfect kitchen.
Working with an existing identity, Cairn created the strategic proposition as well as a suite of digital assets for the platform’s launch into the UK kitchen retail market. A comprehensive User Experience (UX) audit was also carried out in conjunction with LIV:K’s developer, RMTSoft.
Will English, managing director of Cairn, said: “It’s the perfect time to launch a disruptive new way to buy kitchens in the UK. Research tells us that over two thirds of consumers begin the search for their dream kitchen online, so positioning LIV:K as a new digital entry point into quality kitchens makes complete sense. We’re looking forward to helping the platform develop and shake up the category.”
Dr. Stefan Wriggers, managing director of RMTSoft, added: “The thorough strategic work which the Cairn team have delivered has helped us enormously to position and establish the LIV:K brand in the UK. I’m very pleased with the activity, which has given us a solid foundation for the new platform.”
Cairn’s core services are rooted around strategic brand planning and channel-spanning creative, supported by a team of activation specialists across digital, off-line, PR and web design and development.
Based in Sale, Greater Manchester, Cairn’s purpose is to ‘take brands further’, whether that’s scale-ups focused on the next phase of growth, established brands pursuing new opportunities or simply businesses seeking a fresh approach to their communications.
