BDB wins competitive pitch for global event


BDB will handle the PR, content, social media and event management support for Vitafoods Europe in Geneva.

The Altrincham agency won the brief following a competitive pitch process.

Vitafoods Europe 2019 is aimed at the global nutraceutical industry and is owned by Informa, the world’s largest exhibitions organiser.

“BDB came to us highly recommended by other businesses in the health and nutrition industry and they really got under the skin of the brief during the pitch,” said Daniela Elia, Head of Marketing, Vitafoods, Informa Markets.

“The campaigns have got off to an excellent start, and we’re excited to have the team on board as we continue to shape the food industry for optimal health through science and innovation.”

Last year 1,119 exhibitors attended the event, with 21,132 visitors from more than 1112 countries.

“BDB has been working at the heart of the food ingredients and nutrition sector for much of our 30-year history and it’s inspiring to be working with Vitafoods to evolve its position as the voice of the industry,” added Jenny Mason, Executive Director of BDB.
