Babble continues its growth in the North of England with its 24th acquisition since 2019.
Chester’s Vivio is its 9th deal of the year and biggest to date. It means that the tech company will now service almost 16k UK businesses, generating in excess of £60m revenue each year.
“Acquiring Vivio is a tremendous win for Babble as we continue to grow our mobile arm,” said Matt Parker, Babble CEO.
“Vivio has an award-winning team proven at providing a people-first service and cutting-edge solutions which drive growth. Our experience across contact, cyber and comms means we can help Vivio’s customers grow even faster by introducing new technology to different areas of their businesses. We’ll keep Vivio’s local service, with the added benefit of our national presence providing extra expertise and resources.”
Founded in 2001, Vivio currently has over 60,000 mobile connections on multiple platforms across the UK.
“Joining Babble is such an exciting opportunity for our business, our colleagues and our clients. We’re delighted with how we have progressed to this point and can’t wait to see how Babble takes things to the next level,” added James Wright, CEO of Vivio.
Wright will continue to be involved “for a short period of time” to help with the integration of the 2 businesses. Managing Director, Suzie Whibberley, will be joining the senior team at Babble with her focus remaining on mobile.
Babble already owns Concert in Cheshire and Wakefield-based Yorkshire Telecom.
