Following record-breaking sales for BetMGM Premier League Darts and unprecedented fan demand, ASM Global and the PDC have announced a major new partnership.
Five of the UK’s most iconic venues—AO Arena Manchester, Utilita Arena Newcastle, first direct arena Leeds, Utilita Arena Sheffield, and P&J Live Aberdeen—will continue to host Premier League Darts until at least 2027. These arenas are renowned for their unique atmosphere and remain firm favourites with fans.
Aberdeen first hosted Premier League Darts in 2006, with the new P&J Live venue introduced in 2020. Newcastle and Sheffield joined the circuit in 2007, followed by Manchester in 2008. Leeds made its debut in 2014, setting a record attendance of 11,000 fans. This new agreement extends the involvement of these popular venues until 2027.
Teenage sensation Luke Littler was crowned the 2024 Premier League champion and is set to renew his rivalry with current World Champion Luke Humphries and seven-time Premier League winner Michael van Gerwen in 2025.
“These five venues are amongst the biggest and most popular which are visited annually by the Premier League and it’s great to secure their immediate future through this new agreement with ASM Global,” said PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter.
“2024’s BetMGM Premier League was the biggest in the 20-year history of the event, and we’re already seeing record interest from fans who are snapping up tickets for next year’s eagerly awaited season.”
James Taylor, programming director – sport & new business at ASM Global, said: “We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with the PDC and continue bringing Premier League Darts to some of the UK’s most iconic venues. The atmosphere at these events is always electric, and with fan demand at an all-time high, we’re excited to welcome back the world’s best players. This multi-year agreement underscores our commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences for darts fans across the country.”
Tickets for 2025’s BetMGM Premier League are now on general sale.
