BBC Three is to air a new reality entertainment series, featuring the boxer, Amir Khan.
Meet The Khans: Big In Bolton (working title) was announced at the Edinburgh TV Festival by BBC Three Controller, Fiona Campbell.
The “high gloss” series will follow Khan and his fashion and beauty influencer wife, Faryal Makhdoom.
It promises to give an exclusive insight into the real couple behind the “splashy tabloid headlines.”
Made by Chatterbox, the 8x30minute series will also feature members of the extended Khan family, his boxing club and Makhdoom’s business plans.
It was commissioned by Fiona Campbell, Controller, BBC Three and Nasfim Haque, Commissioning Editor, Popular Factual.
The Executive Producers are Nav Raman and Ali Quirk, the Series Director is Josh Jacobs.
