All Together Now cancelled by BBC

All Together Now

MediaCityUK-filmed All Together Now, presented by Geri Horner and Rob Beckett, has not been re-commissioned by the BBC.

The contest, which involved a panel of 100 music experts voting on singing acts, has been axed less than 18 months after first going on air. Since launching in January 2018, the show has had two series and been rolled out globally. However, it failed to make an impact domestically in terms of ratings.

This January, ratings of three million were not enough to compete with The Greatest Dancer, which drew 4.8 million viewers. There was also a Christmas special in 2018, featuring Gemma Collins, Alison Hammond and Amber Davies, but it was enough to save the show.

A BBC spokesperson said: “We would like to thank the production team for all their hard work in launching such a successful format.”

Series one winner Michael Rice went on to represent the UK in Eurovision 2019, fishing bottom of the leader board with 16 points.

All Together Now was made by BBC One and Remarkable Television, part of Endemol Shine UK. Neither Spice Girl Horner or comedian beckett has yet commented on the cancellation.
