A signal of “intent” as AI consultancy appoints Chief Commercial Officer

Manchester-based Tribes, has recruited Paul Green as its new Chief Commercial Officer.

He joins the AI development consulting business  from CTI, where he held the same position.

Tribes’ founder, Bruce Thomas, explained that his arrived came following the company’s strongest financial performance to date. That included a win from an unnamed “$7bn revenue enterprise company” with which it’s developing a new AI-powered product.

“Paul brings exactly the kind of commercial leadership we need at this stage of our journey,” added Thomas.

“We’ve seen strong momentum and record results in 2025, and Paul’s experience will help us build on that success in a focused and sustainable way.”

Green has also held CCO roles at One Beyond and Godel, where he spent almost 8 years.

“Tribes has built something genuinely impressive — strong foundations, a clear sense of purpose, and a cutting edge delivery model that clients trust,” he said.

“With record performance in 2025 and major client wins already in place, the platform for growth is clear. I’m excited to help shape the next phase of the company’s commercial journey.”

In the new position, he’ll be heading up Tribes’ global commercial strategy, overseeing sales, partnerships, pricing models, and go-to-market execution.

“This appointment is about intent. We’re investing in senior leadership to match the scale of opportunity in front of us. Paul understands how to grow responsibly, align teams, and turn momentum into long-term value for clients and partners,” said David Elkabas, Managing Director of Tribes.
