Manchester agency Brazen has been appointed by Golden Mile Exhibitions to handle both PR and social media for a brand new attraction in Blackpool.

The new attraction operator has collaborated with the Natural History Museum in London to bring a series of touring exhibitions to the North West for the first time, located on Blackpool’s main promenade.

The attraction opened its doors on July 19 with the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, with Myths and Monsters and Ice Station Antarctica to follow over the next year.

Gareth Harold, Golden Mile Exhibitions managing director, said: “We chose to work with Brazen because of their can-do attitude – we were particularly impressed with their ability to think creatively and quickly while mindful of our partners and their brand sensitivities.”

Brazen has worked in the town before, on the launch of Madame Tussauds Blackpool for Merlin Entertainments.

Founder Nina Webb said: “Golden Mile Exhibitions is bringing yet another fantastic quality entertainment offer to Blackpool and indeed the North West. We have loads of experience of working within the resort and are excited to be working with these great brands.”

Its account team will be led by client services director Peter Burling and account director Emma Trimble.

Brazen has recently won briefs from Smithfield Foods, Carex and Mitchell & Butlers.
