Dr Oetker is looking for a new digital agency to work on its Chicago Town brand after it parted company “on mutual terms” with Amaze due to a “client conflict.”
The Manchester agency has been working on the frozen pizza account since 2010. It originally won the contract following a 5-way pitch and since then has implemented digital strategies for Chicago Town and its sub-brands.
Amaze was previously a part of Hasgrove plc, before being sold to marketing group, St Ives in March for £15.3m. While Prolific North has been unable to receive a response from Amaze this morning, St Ives does list Pizza Hut amongst its clients
The pitch process doesn’t affect any of the other agencies supplying the Chicago Town brand.
